Add Your Memories to Our History
Did you grow up in Penns Grove, Carneys Point or Oldmans? Remember a favorite teacher, a corner store, a church picnic or a championship game? Your stories and photographs help keep our towns’ history alive for the next generation.
What to Share
Ideas for Your Story
- Growing up in town: neighbors, games, summers
- School days, teachers and classmates
- Churches, clubs and community events
- Stores, businesses and the people who ran them
- Family histories and the people you remember
- Sports teams and memorable games
A Few Tips
- Write it in your own words. There’s no wrong way to tell a story.
- Include names, places and years when you can. They help others find your story.
- Add a photo, at least 800 pixels wide. Wide (landscape) photos look best.
- Only share photos that are yours or that you have permission to share.
