Bob Camac (1940–2001) was a Thoroughbred horse trainer and breeder who lived in Pedricktown, part of Oldmans Township. He built a successful career on the Mid-Atlantic racing circuit and recommended the breeding that produced Smarty Jones, winner of the 2004 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes. Although Camac died before those victories, his judgment helped shape one of horse racing’s most memorable success stories.
